![]() ![]() If this bug is affecting you before doing the Old Guns quest, I'm not sure what to do. TLDR: Keep the radio on before starting the Old Weapons quest. I think this works because it keeps the NPC basically glued to his seat broadcasting, even if the rest of the Minute Men NPCs are alarmed to come help you, if your radio is on, the guy still sits in his chair and doesn't bug out. Proceeded with the rest and everything was fine. I then just proceeded through the steps, went downstairs, went into VATS to find the mines and pick them up without them detonating (in case that was the issue). Then, I dialed in to the Freedom Radio before initiating the dialogue with the old Minute Man Lady (I forget her name). What I did was I loaded a save from before starting the Old Guns quest. Pretty simple, and it has worked every time. Whenever you back out of the terminal and the door does not open, simply press esc to bring up the pause menu, then esc again to return to the game. Whatever it is, he leaves his seat and it bugs out. I have actually been able to get every door to open with a terminal. I think the issue is that the Minute Man on the radio is affected by the robot attacking, the mines exploding below him, or the robot detonating when it's destroyed. I spent about 2 hours trying to do different things, changing the power stations, changing the wiring, ect, but none of that worked. I had a similar problem, I had initially got the radio transmitter to work when I first arrived at the Castle, but when I went through the Old Guns quest to set up the artillery, the transmitter bugs out and doesn't work. Did this bug start up when you did the Old Guns quest? ![]()
